What can these counters count?
Pulses, batches, length and events. The 6-digit PE 7x02 also shows RPM on its lower display.
Which sensors and signals can I connect?
Limit switches, relay contacts, proximity switches, electro-magnetic pick-ups, infra-red sensors and photo electric switches. The 4-digit model also accepts AC and DC pulses, and the thumbwheel and 6-digit models accept AC/DC voltage signals.
Can the counter count up and down?
Yes. The count mode is user settable between Up and Down on all three models.
Will the count be lost in a power failure?
Battery backup is available as an option on the 4-digit and thumbwheel preset counters, to retain the data when power fails.
What is the difference between the digital and thumbwheel counters?
The thumbwheel preset counter (PE 71x3 / PE 71x4) is set to a target count with thumbwheel switches and switches a changeover relay (5A / 230 V AC resistive) when the count is reached. The digital counters show the running count on LED displays.
Can the counter be customised?
Application specific customisation is available for the 6-digit counter. For other needs, send us your requirement.
